Hals Castle – Crusaders & City Founder

Once one of the largest castles in Lower Bavaria! An Hungarian queen resided here, war was declared on King Wenzel of Bohemia, Bamberg’s Bishop Albrecht was imprisoned - a knightly search for traces through the buildings and vaults of the Halser Count’s Castle. Those who are brave put on heavy armor ... sturdy shoes & torch required!
